Her
gorgeous body lie in the ground
in front of me.
Her pale flesh
contrasted with the pool of blood
that
  she
was lying in.
I
looked at the gun,
an 8mm, in my
hand.
 I
couldn't beleive that I
had shot her.
Just weeks ago,
she had been
the love of my
life,
the
only thing I
cared for and now,
   she
is dead.
A
cold blast of wind
blows in my face
    awakening
me from my
contemplation. I look
forward seeing
the
sun rise over
the desert mountains miles
away.
I toss my
gun in the pool
of blood and walk off
toward
the thin sliver of
sun.
 Yes,
things have
changed.
    I
have changed.
